Arts Printing House offers a residency to professional international artists in Contemporary Performing Arts field: Contemporary Circus, Theatre, Dance. As well Arts Printing House opens residency to the Producers of performing arts: art directors, festival programmers or managers of the field. We try to encourage and strengthen the interaction between Lithuanian artists and guests from other countries via Artists in Residence program Print Art on Stage.
Dance Theatre „Dansema“ is a public organization working with culture projects. It focuses on production of contemporary dance for children and youth. This year on March 6-15, March the troupe will be performing in Brussels at „Schola Europaea“ school. This school is very special and unique because here enrolls more than 3,000 children with different ethnicities and nationalities whose parents work in the European Parliament and the Commission.
We are proud to announce that this year our long term residents „Low air“ will take part in one of the biggest dance festivals in Glasgow - „Dance International Glasgow (DIG)”. This year festival will begin on April 6 and continues until 5th of June.
“Make the Switch from Me” will be presented by Kaunas troupe - Aura Dance Theater at Arts Printing House on 27th of February.
On Wednesday (11, February) the performance ”Contemporary?“ was presented in an annual dance festival – “PlaStforma Minsk 2015”.This festival was organized for the third time and invited participants from Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia and Sweden. The main aim of “PlaStforma Minsk 2015” was to introduce the latest and newest dance performances of Belarus.
2-6 of February the delegation of Lithuanian short films participating in the prestigious short film festival in France. 37th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival annually convene over 50 thousand fans from all over the world. In one of the most important events for the European film industry Lithuania has it's stand.
4, February (7 p.m.)at the Arts Printing House we invite the audience for contemporary dance evening. On one stage two new performances - “ID: D&G” by Mantas Stabacinskas and Marius Pinigis and “K.ID” (choreography by Erika Vizbaraite).
This is probably the first time in Lithuania that three artists have cooperated to create a performance that looks at the Lithuanian contemporary dance scene with a self-irony glance, quoting cliché movements, phrases, even costume details. „Contemporary?” is focusing ironically on the processes of dance making.
