first puppet performance in Lithuania, which is developed using live recording technique.
director Šarūnas Datenis | art director Imantas Precas | composers Severija Janusauškaitė ir Vytautas Leistrumas
performed by Šarūnas Datenis, Imantas Precas ir Karolis Algimantas Butvidas
The team has chosen the popular H.K. Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Match Girl," which speaks about challenging topics: violence, indifference in society, public issue and death. Topics which usually are hidden from children and parents remain silent, but with the help of the artistic tools performers will raise those sad themes.
Puppets and video projections, together with specially created sound track will bring viewers to the different world – reduced model of the town where the Little Match Girl lives and the performance takes place.
Not as in usual puppet shows, here the spectators can see the details and emotions of every puppet and glance through the windows – live video broadcast will be projected to the screen.
