Šiuolaikinio šokio asociacija kartu su Lietuvos šokio informacijos centru ir Lietuvos kultūros institutu šiemet pirmą kartą surengė tarptautinę mainų rezidenciją tarp Lietuvos ir Italijos šokio menininkų, kurios metu bendradarbiauja su Italijos organizacija - Comune di Bassano del Grappa. Pirmasis rezidencijos etapas vyksta Lietuvoje, kurio metu menininkai Ema Senkuvienė ir Giovanni Impellizzieri pažindinasi su vienos kito kūrybos praktikomis ir ieško bendrų kūrybos sąlyčio taškų. Kviečiame apsilankyti atvirame rezidencijos rezultatų pristatyme, kuris vyks Menų spaustuvės 3-je studijoje.

I relate the notion of intimacy and infrastructure with that of material and immaterial contact between subjects and objects. If the ingredients of intimacy are transparency - intended as a tool for a better visibility and not as what is not seen - and proximity and that of infrastructure is the facilitation with which society is able to satisfy its needs, I can create an analogy with the starting notions affirming that art can be seen as a social infrastructure that produces, expresses and shares visions of the world - of which it can favor its transformation by bringing with it a political statement, dance as a practice of intimacy accomplished both live and through digital platforms.

The body, seeing and visible, touching and touched, is at the center of my work that expresses his intimate and concrete contact with the world, his inhabiting space and time. It tells the movement and life of things, through a process of extraction, repositioning and exposure of the object (dance as a sensitive object), in an observation environment that expresses a natural dramaturgy of bodies through rhythmic relations that contribute to the making and unmaking of the image through their exposure. Dance is promoted as a form of relational art, a peculiar form of contact between spirit, body and vision. Contact, which now is being questioned by the pandemic we are going through, but which remains fundamental to connect human beings with themselves and the world, perceived precisely through the dance of which it is the remaining meaning. Dance as sense of the world.

The cognitive and evolutionary nature of the senses makes us reflect once again on the continuous formation - and self-formation - of the human being through his experiences. Thus dance is generated not starting from one of the five senses, but from an extended sense that allows us to grasp and generate the multifaceted aspects of life itself. In the instant compositions scattered in space dance is seen as a system of autonomy of the living, a form of intelligence, presence, intensity perceptible through the body, the development of an embodied vision. The research is sensitive to the construction of landscapes through design and the relationships between bodies and investigates their potential starting from shared coordinates such as time and space, proposes a way of composing in an extemporaneous way and promotes the acceptance of every possible action as dance. Body practices probe the expressive possibilities of bodily matter, its adaptivity in an experimentel exercise of freedom.
